Laughing children in a learning centre in Kolkata

We save lives, provide education and create opportunities – in the heart of Kolkata’s slums.

Stiftung Calcutta Rescue supports local organisations in Kolkata and West Bengal with donations and commitment – so that people who have no chance get one again.

Since our foundation in 2012, we have been raising the funds needed for the work on the ground in German-speaking Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

We help where nobody else does and change lives for the long term. Our focus is on the needs of local people, respect for their dignity and careful stewardship of the donations entrusted to us.
