Enabling lasting change together

Sustainable development happens where local organisations know the needs of their communities and develop solutions with the people on the ground. That is why we rely on long-term partnerships, responsible use of donations and projects that bring about concrete improvements.

Education

Through tutoring, learning centres and educational programmes, KMWSC opens up better prospects for disadvantaged children and young people. Particular attention is paid to children from socially disadvantaged families and migrant communities.

Protection of women and children

KMWSC stands up for the rights and protection of women and children. Its work includes prevention, awareness-raising and support for those affected by violence, exploitation and human trafficking.

Community development

KMWSC strengthens local communities by involving people in development processes and fostering cohesion and local initiative. The aim is better living conditions and greater participation in society.

Vocational training

Through vocational training, practical courses and the development of personal skills, KMWSC helps young people and women improve their job prospects and create their own sources of income.

Skills and resilience building

KMWSC helps families and communities cope with crises, climate risks and economic insecurity – through training, self-help groups and sustainable sources of income.

Crisis and disaster management

In crises and after natural disasters, KMWSC supports the hardest-hit families with essential goods and practical help. The aim is to relieve immediate hardship and support reconstruction.
