Millions of children in India are waiting for an education – they need teachers now, not after years of theory.
The programme trains committed people from villages and slums to become primary school teachers in a short, practical course. They know the realities of life on the ground and go where trained teachers are often lacking. The key to the training is creativity.
Participants learn to adapt methods to their surroundings and to find their own ways with local materials. In this way, they open the door to education for children – and to a better future.
Support this work and give children a chance.
